Frequently Asked Questions

What is a reward credit card?

This type of credit card gives you rewards for using your card. Some reward cards give you points for spending, which you can then spend on rewards, but probably the most common type of reward is cashback, which is what you get with the Aqua Reward card.

How do cashback credit cards work?

Cashback cards give you back a fixed percentage of what you spend. For example, if you spent £5,000 on your card over the course of a year with a cashback rate of 0.5%, you could get £50 in cashback.

What is an APR?

APR stands for annual percentage rate and represents the amount of interest you’ll pay annually on any money you borrow unless you clear your whole balance each month. The lower the APR, the less you’ll have to pay in interest.

What happens if you miss a payment?

If you miss a payment by a couple of days this can have an impact on your credit score. Late payments can stay on your credit report for up to six years which may make it more difficult for you to gain credit in the future.
